Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving to include at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, collect trash inside store and parking lot, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand the store's layout for locating products and conducting price checks.
9. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
11. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
13. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
15. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
16. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
17. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
