Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
7. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and store areas.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
9. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
10. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
11. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with questions about products.
13. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
15. Act with honesty and integrity, especially regarding customer and business information.
16. Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
17. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
