Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damaging contents.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers about grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
• Support safety programs by following procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting repairs as needed.
• Create a welcoming environment, assisting customers with questions about products.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
