Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and bagging at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
8. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
9. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
10. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
11. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
12. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
13. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
14. Follow directions and seek assistance as needed to resolve issues.
15. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
16. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
