Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers about grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills, trash, and store areas.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
• Conduct price checks and reinforce safety and food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and adhere to laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts calmly, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
