Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and cleaning all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
9. Reinforce safety programs by following procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and notifying management.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
11. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
13. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
15. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
16. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
17. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
