Job Description
Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
7. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
9. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
11. Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
13. Follow all legal and company guidelines, work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, and manage conflicts professionally.
14. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.
