Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of the basket for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment, report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and seek help when needed.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range: $17.50 - $17.50
