Essential Job Functions:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and items are bagged efficiently.
2. Assisting customers with loading bags into their cars.
3. Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
4. Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
5. Collecting and returning shopping carts.
6. Cleaning spills, trash, and maintaining store cleanliness inside and outside.
7. Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
8. Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents, and complying with food safety regulations.
9. Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
10. Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
11. Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
12. Working cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
13. Managing conflict calmly and cooperatively.
14. Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
