Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, and conduct price checks.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment, assist customers, and support a welcoming environment.
• Comply with all legal and company guidelines, work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, and manage conflicts professionally.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
