Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

  1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
  2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
  3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
  4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
  5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
  6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
  7. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
  8. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
  9. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
  10. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
  11. Create a welcoming environment for customers, answer questions, and provide support to diverse customer needs.
  12. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  13. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
  14. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
