Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to store shelves.
6. Gather and return bascarts to designated areas.
7. Clean spills, and collect and pick up trash inside the store and parking lot.
8. Clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand the store's layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
11. Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and notifying management.
12. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Inspect equipment regularly and notify appropriate personnel of repairs needed.
14. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
15. Follow all local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines.
16. Work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments.
17. Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
18. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
19. Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues.
20. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
21. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
