Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers about grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and cleaning all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or incidents, and adhere to all food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment for preventive maintenance and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
