Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to store shelves.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, collect trash inside and outside the store, and handle seasonal merchandise.
8. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
9. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues to management.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and conduct equipment inspections.
11. Create a welcoming environment for customers, answer questions, and support all store areas.
12. Follow all laws and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
13. Manage conflict constructively, act with honesty and integrity, and seek assistance when needed.
14. Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. This position requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
