Minimum Position Qualifications:

Essential Job Functions:

• Bagging groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot.
• Cleaning all store areas, inside and outside.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
• Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and reporting issues.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs needed.
• Providing a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions about products.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Managing conflict calmly and cooperatively.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Following directions and seeking assistance when needed.
• Supporting and assisting minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 per hour
