Job Responsibilities

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
3. Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
4. Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place and the work station neat and clean.
5. Assist cashiers during checkout and help customers locate products.
6. Retrieve stray carts from parking lot and keep parking lot litter-free.
7. Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and merchandise, and in maintaining store cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, and bathroom upkeep.
8. Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
9. Assist in price changes, work parcel pick-up areas, and replace misplaced items.
10. Properly use the intercom system and manage shelf tags.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
