Job description

Essential Job Functions

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to the company's policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in stocking milk and eggs.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and help keep shopping carts in their proper place at the front end.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot and keep the parking lot litter-free.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness of the store and bathrooms.
• Help customers locate products and understand shelf tags for price changes.
• Never carry on conversations with other associates while bagging orders to ensure efficiency.
• Assist in parcel pick-up areas and replace misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system.
• Stock merchandise and assist with price changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
