Essential Job Functions:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to the company's bagging policies.
3. Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
4. Assist in maintaining shopping carts in proper places at the front end.
5. Help cashiers check out customers efficiently.
6. Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
7. Keep the work station and surrounding areas neat and clean.
8. Assist in stocking milk and eggs.
9. Help customers locate products.
10. Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
11. Assist in sweeping and mopping store areas.
12. Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms.
13. Keep parking lot and carts litter-free.
14. Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed.
15. Replace misplaced items to proper locations.
16. Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
17. Properly use the intercom system.
18. Understand shelf tags for price changes.
19. Stock merchandise.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
