Essential Job Functions:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures of packaging a customer’s order and adhere to the company’s policies outlined in the bagging manual.
3. Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
4. Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end.
5. Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
6. Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
7. Keep work station and surrounding areas neat and clean.
8. Assist in stocking milk and eggs, and help customers locate products.
9. Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
10. Assist in sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms clean.
11. Maintain litter-free parking lot and shopping cart areas.
12. Work in parcel pick-up areas as directed.
13. Replace misplaced items, collect trash, bale boxes, and use the intercom properly.
14. Understand shelf tags for price changes and stock merchandise.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
