Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to support store operations across departments and customer service. You will assist with carts, cleaning, trash removal, and basic store duties while engaging with customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Move shopping carts from the exterior to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside-store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist at service desk, entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with various departments across the store.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
