Job summary

Meijer is hiring entry-level team members in Michigan to support store operations, customer service and daily tasks across departments. This role offers exposure to a variety of retail responsibilities and opportunities to learn and grow within a family-owned company.

As a Courtesy Team Member, you will assist with cart retrieval, parking lot maintenance, trash collection, snow removal, cleaning, and helping customers at service desks and check lanes. Meijer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desks, store entrances, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You'll be Doing:
