Job summary

Meijer is hiring entry-level Courtesy Team Members to support store operations across health and beauty care, hardware, and more. You’ll interact with customers, assist with services, and help maintain clean, organized aisles and carts.

Responsibilities include cart attendant duties, trash collection, snow removal, basic cleaning, and collaboration with service desks and departments to ensure a positive shopping experience. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
