City and County of Broomfield's Broomfield Police Department seeks a Court Security Officer to enforce state and local ordinances while delivering high‑quality service to court personnel and the public. This role operates the Combined Courts Screening Station, monitors CCTV and security electronics, conducts building security sweeps, and assists sworn personnel as needed.

Starting pay ranges from $24.28 to $35.29 per hour, with eligibility for a Step Plan and comprehensive benefits, plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience; security screening preferred.
• Ability to operate screening stations and monitor CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Combined Courts Screening Station.
• Wand or pat search all entrants for prohibited articles.
• Monitor security cameras for multiple facilities.
• Assist sworn personnel and de‑escalate conflicts when needed.
• Testify in municipal, district, and county court as required.
• Maintain records and complete required reports.
