Job summary

Centerra Group is seeking a Court Security Officer (CSO) to provide protective security at U.S. Federal Court Houses under a U.S. Marshals Service contract. The role includes fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols and adherence to post orders and facility protocols.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, be at least 21, and have verifiable civilian law enforcement experience or equivalent service. Union position with standard security duties and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent read/speak/compose in English.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• No felonies; no misdemeanors of domestic violence.

Responsibilities

• Enforce the District's entry and identification system.
• Patrol court facilities and grounds.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel.
• Monitor alarms and dispatch alerts as needed.
• Log and report incidents as required by post orders.
