About the Position:

The Court Security Deputy Sheriff is a full-time, on-site position assigned to the Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County in Centreville, MD. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment for judges, court personnel, attorneys, jurors, defendants, and members of the public. The Court Security Deputy is responsible for providing professional security services throughout the courthouse and responding appropriately to security concerns, emergencies, and other incidents.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate is a professional, dependable, service-oriented, MPCTC Certified law enforcement officer who understands the importance of maintaining safety while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Prior experience working courts, prisoner transport, or other security related assignments is a plus, but not a requirement. Two years of prior law enforcement experience are required.

Salary:

The starting salary for this position is up to $73,000 annually.
