• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass a written examination as prescribed by the Merit Commission.
• Must pass a physical standards test.
• Must pass a thorough background investigation.
• Must pass drug testing.
• Must reside within Sangamon County within 6 months of employment.
