Job summary

The New York Foundling is seeking an intake and court specialist supervisor to lead a small team and support leadership with court-related needs. The role centers on supervising intake and court specialists, coordinating with therapeutic colleagues, and ensuring services meet client needs.

You will engage with stakeholders, present services, audit performance, and help ensure staff utilization across programs, contributing to stable family support and child welfare efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in legal, psychology, or sociology related field.
• Experience supervising a team of two or more people.
• Experience in a court-related setting.
• Experience completing intakes with clients in the home or office setting.
• Experience working in criminal justice services.
• Cultural competency: Understanding different backgrounds and cultures of clients we work with.
• Ability to complete tasks in a flexible manner. Last minute tasks may arise, ensuring that all workers can cover tasks in appropriate and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Supervise intake and court specialists and provide team supervision.
• Support AVP with court-related presentations and stakeholder opportunities.
• Network with stakeholders to ensure stream of incoming referrals.
• Audit performance and output of team on a monthly basis and report to leadership.
• Assist in the presentation to stakeholders to inform about services.
• Coordinating with program leadership on ensuring staff utilization is being met.
