Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED with at least six months of clerical support experience.
• College coursework may substitute for up to six months of experience.
• Completion of college-level coursework is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts and processes legal documents and mail; handles payments and receipts.
• Creates case files and enters data into the automated case management system.
• Enters case information on dockets and assists with court calendars.
• Performs telephone and public counter duties; assists the public and court staff.
• Processes payments and reconciles daily receipts; prepares copies and notices.
