Job summary

The State of Oregon's Klamath County Circuit Court seeks an Operations Clerk to support the processing of civil, probate, family, criminal, traffic, and juvenile filings. You will assist self-represented litigants at a customer service counter and help ensure accurate case records and financial transactions.

Ideal candidates bring strong clerical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to explain procedures clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three (3) years of responsible experience in a moderately complex office or business setting involving processing of financial, administrative, or legal documents.
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to three (3) years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in accurate and timely processing of Civil, Probate, Family Law, Criminal, Traffic, and Juvenile filings.
• Inform self-represented litigants and attorneys about court procedures and policies.
• Prepare forms, handle monies, and maintain an accurate case register and monetary records.
• Provide backup support to other operations positions as needed.
