Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated clinician to conduct evaluations for hospitalizations and collaborate with the Pike County Court. The role emphasizes serving underserved populations with compassionate therapeutic care and an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

The position requires a Master’s in behavioral health, internship experience, and the ability to obtain licensure within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health required.
• Must obtain Clinical license or DMH Therapist certification within 90 days of hire.
• Behavioral health internship required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Good communication skills, relationship building skills, and time management skills required.
• Working knowledge of mental health symptoms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and provides diagnoses; formulates a treatment plan to facilitate growth and independence.
• Monitors and maintains client services records in EMR per PBMHR, DMH, and CARF standards.
• Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to individuals and their families.
