Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• Independent social work licensure required.
• Eligible for the Qualified Social Worker credential.
• Knowledge of statutory mental health evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct court-ordered evaluations in criminal and civil matters under Massachusetts General Laws.
• Consult with judges, attorneys, probation officers, and community providers.
• Prepare timely evaluation reports for court needs.
• Testify in court regarding evaluations.
• Coordinate with jail staff and crisis services as needed.
• Connect individuals with community referrals.
• Document services in compliance with requirements.
• Arrange placement for committed individuals.
