Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or legal studies with 5 years of investigation experience.
• Experience in criminal investigations and court procedures.
• Strong knowledge of investigation techniques and tools and public records access.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trial preparation and witness coordination.
• Coordinate transportation for non-victim witnesses.
• Assist with subpoenas and evidence handling.
• Testify in court when required.
• Address FOIA requests with County Legal Department.
• Maintain confidentiality of case information.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Obtain out-of-county records as requested.
• Review jail correspondence.
• Assist with restitution determinations.
