Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Manager, Courseware Platform Development to lead the technical and product team responsible for building, enhancing, and operating platforms that support training content development, delivery, and lifecycle management.

This role requires 10+ years in application development with cloud experience and 5+ years in management, along with a strong SDLC and Agile background, to ensure scalable, innovative platforms aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

10+ years in application development across modern frameworks and cloud platforms.
5+ years of leading engineering or product teams.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and related toolsets.

Responsibilities

Lead technical and product teams to create platform capabilities enabling development and delivery of training content.
Manage day-to-day operations with KPIs and performance feedback.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform priorities with business needs.
Own the development lifecycle of courseware platforms from ideation to delivery and improvement.
Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting for platform initiatives.
Ensure SDLC and Agile standards are consistently applied.
Work with infrastructure, data engineering, security, and external partners for cohesive integration.
Coordinate with IT and business managers on viability and long-term strategy.
Provide after-hours support and manage workload with clear timelines and dependencies.
