Job summary

Amentum in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Course Coordinator to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor-led training courses.

The role requires creating reports, proctoring exams, and coordinating student progress while serving as the SME for the student experience and liaising with staff and customers. A 40-hour week is typical with potential overtime and limited telework.

Qualifications

Purpose and Impact:

If you want to be part of a dynamic Team supporting engaging andcutting-edgetraining solutions, this is the place for you!Amentum is currently seeking a Course Coordinator in Pensacola, FL ,to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor-led training courses. The Course Coordinator will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary Team delivering highly sophisticated, technical, hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our customers.

Work Schedule: The coursesbeing supported are active from 0800-1700 M-F. Contract core hours are 1000-1400.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The Course Coordinatorassistsstudents with anyadministrativequestions or issues they may have, proctors high-stakes exams, and is a liaison between the students, staff, and the customer. The Course Coordinator creates daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course, and on the spot reports for the customer. The Course Coordinator is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the student experience, which includes, but is not limitedto:addressing student concerns,tracking student progress, analyzing student data, monitoring high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity and updating and maintaining course-related documentation.
  • The Course Coordinator provides administrative support to students taking an independent learning, web-based cyber training. This includes providing feedbackfor developing and updating course content, exercises, exams, resources, and other documentation as needed.
  • A qualified candidate mustpossessexcellent speaking, presentation,reading comprehension, and writing skills. A qualified candidate must be detail oriented and able to effectively collaborate with other members of the team and prioritize tasks under strict deadlines.
  • Must be able tointerface withindividuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements.
  • Attendance is always critical. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday.However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur. There may be an optionfor some limited telework.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Provide first-line non-technical supportfor studentsattending locally and at remotesites
  • Able to create and edit allrequiredcoursereports(toincludedaily,weekly,monthly,end-of-course,course readiness,progress,exam,andfinalreports).
  • UsemultiplewordprocessingandpresentationtoolssuchasMSWord, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
  • Abletorosterstudentstonew courses and set uprequiredstudentaccesses
  • Monitor student progress:Document, track, analyze andcreatereportsasrequiredby theCOR
  • Maintain detailedadministrativerecordsof studentdata
  • Proctorhigh-stakesexamsto ensure exam and studentintegrity
  • Collaborate with multipleteam members as applicable toensure accuracy of learningcontentandaddressstudent-specificissues

Minimum Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, English, Communications, a technical discipline, ora directly relatedfield plus two (2) years of relevant experience.In lieu of aBachelor’sdegree, anadditional4 years of work experience (for a total of six (6) years of experience) can be substituted for the degree requirement .

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 2yearsofexperienceworkingintheanalysis,design,development,implementation/delivery,and/or evaluation of trainingOR 3 years of experienceworkingin anadministrativesupportrole
  • Militaryexperience isdesired .
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira is desired.
