Job summary

Amentum in Augusta, GA seeks a Course Coordinator to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor-led training courses. You will liaison between students, staff, and customers, proctor high-stakes exams, and generate daily, weekly, monthly, and end-of-course reports as required.

The role requires excellent speaking, presentation, reading and writing skills, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.

  • Maintain detailed administrative records and proctor high-stakes exams.
  • Collaborate with team to ensure accuracy of learning content.

Job description

Purpose and Impact:

If you want to be part of a dynamic Team supporting engaging and cutting-edge training solutions, this is the place for you! Amentum is currently seeking a Course Coordinator in Augusta, GA, to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor‑led training courses. The Course Coordinator will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary Team delivering highly sophisticated, technical, hands‑on training solutions to meet the mission and time‑critical needs of our customers.

Work Schedule:

The courses being supported are active from 0800-1700 M-F. Contract core hours are 1000-1400.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • The Course Coordinator assists students with any administrative questions or issues they may have, proctors high‑stakes exams, and is a liaison between the students, staff, and the customer. The Course Coordinator creates daily, weekly, monthly, end‑of‑course, and on‑the‑spot reports for the customer. The Course Coordinator is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the student experience, which includes, but is not limited to: addressing student concerns, tracking student progress, analyzing student data, monitoring high‑stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity and updating and maintaining course‑related documentation.

  • The Course Coordinator provides administrative support to students taking an independent learning, web‑based cyber training. This includes providing feedback for developing and updating course content, exercises, exams, resources, and other documentation as needed.

  • A qualified candidate must possess excellent speaking, presentation, reading comprehension, and writing skills. A qualified candidate must be detail oriented and able to effectively collaborate with other members of the team and prioritize tasks under strict deadlines.

  • Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing. Must be well‑organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements.

  • Attendance is always critical. Must be able to work a 40‑hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur. There may be an option for some limited telework.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
  • Provide first-line non-technical support for students attending locally and at remote sites

  • Able to create and edit all required course reports (to include daily, weekly, monthly, end‑of‑course, course readiness, progress, exam, and final reports).

  • Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.

  • Able to roster students to new courses and set up required student accesses

  • Monitor student progress: Document, track, analyze and create reports as required by the COR

  • Maintain detailed administrative records of student data

  • Proctor high‑stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity

  • Collaborate with multiple team members as applicable to ensure accuracy of learning content and address student- specific issues

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, English, Communications, a technical discipline, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of work experience (for a total of six (6) years of experience) can be substituted for the degree requirement .
Minimum Years of Experience:
  • 2 years of experience working in the analysis, design, development, implementation/delivery, and/or evaluation of training OR 3 years of experience working in an administrative support role

  • Military experience is desired .

  • Experience with Confluence and Jira is desired.

Compensation Details:
