Job Title: Course Advisor (Maternity Cover)

Role Type: Remote role

This role is a 12-month maternity cover.

Job Summary

The Course Advisor is responsible for providing advice to potential students of First Intuition, ensuring excellent customer care by guiding students to choose the right course for them.

This includes:

  1. Answering incoming calls and live chats
  2. Making outbound calls to prospects
  3. Responding to emails and new enquiries
Major Internal Relationships

The Course Advice department is central to the successful sales of First Intuition’s distance learning courses and products. Team members are often the first point of contact for prospective students. Maintaining strong internal relationships is key, especially with:

  • Operations team – to resolve booking issues
  • Tutor team – to communicate exam results and progression opportunities
Responsibilities
  • Providing excellent customer service aligned with First Intuition’s values
  • Offering high-quality course advice to current and prospective students
  • Handling enquiries via phone, live chat, social media, email, and enquiry forms promptly
  • Making outbound calls to prospective students
  • Assisting prospects in selecting suitable courses using questioning and Sandler techniques
  • Following up on potential leads using First Intuition’s follow-up process
  • Developing Trusted Advisor relationships with students using Sandler techniques
  • Logging all enquiries on our CRM and tagging accordingly
  • Managing sales admin tasks such as logging mock and demo bookings
  • Exporting exam results from MyAAT and coordinating with tutors for next steps
  • Undertaking additional administrative duties as needed

Flexibility is essential, and the post holder may be asked to perform other duties as required.
