Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including a medical exam. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Monday through Friday within the timeframe of 6:00am and 6:00pm, based on operational needs.

Pay Transparency

This compensation range provides a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary across all locations. Actual pay depends on experience, market, location, and other factors. Eligible employees may receive additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay

Hourly Rate $25.88; Pay Range Over Time $25.88-36.50
