Job Duties

1. Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Performs related customer service functions.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good communication and human relations skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.

Job Conditions

Maintains a neat appearance; customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including a medical exam. Operates a company vehicle in accordance with policy 4-48 and maintains a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay Transparency
