Job Duties
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required as customer contact is involved. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements for vehicle operation are detailed in policy 4-48. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license per state requirements and have a good driving record. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

AM Shift Mon - Fri 5:30am to 6:30pm. Hours vary based on business needs. Must obtain a Non CDL Class C License within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of the service area and courier methods is a plus.

Pay Transparency

This compensation range is an estimate of the current starting salary across potential locations, ranging from $23.50 to $36.50 per hour. Actual pay depends on experience, location, and other factors. Eligible employees may receive additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Additional Details

Work schedule: Monday - Saturday, 5:30 AM - 6:30 PM. CDL required within 90 days.
