Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.

Job Conditions

Maintain a neat appearance as customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations, including a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record as per state requirements and company policy. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe working practices.

Pay: $21.36 per hour

Additional Details

Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, variable shifts.
