Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.

Job Conditions

Maintain a neat appearance due to customer contact. Meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must pass medical exams as per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record as per policy. This is a non-safety sensitive position. Ability to work alertly and safely is required.
