Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including a medical exam. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record as per policy 4-48. Ability to work alertly and safely in a constant state of alertness.
