Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and courier skills.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet FMCSA or FAA medical exam requirements. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record as per policy 4-48. Must be able to work alertly and safely in a constant state of alertness.

Additional Details: PT Monday – Friday 0700 – 1330, variable start and end times depending on route coverage.
