In this role, you will operate company vehicles to ensure the timely delivery and pickup of packages while providing excellent customer service. Job Duties
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.
Job Conditions
Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including a medical exam. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license as per state requirements and have a good driving record. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Shift: AM, Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 6:30 pm. Must obtain CDL Class C license within 90 days. Hours vary based on business needs.
