Job Description

This position involves operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously. Responsibilities include checking shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, covering all assigned routes within the station's service area, and providing related customer service functions. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Shift Details

Various shifts available, including Tuesday to Saturday, 6:45 am to 3:45 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months courier experience preferred, with demonstrated area knowledge

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
• Good communication and human relations skills
• Knowledge of the service area preferred
• Dependability and adaptability in courier methods

Job Conditions

Maintaining a neat appearance is required. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including a medical exam and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Position requires alertness and a focus on safety.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in courier services and knowledge of the service area are advantageous.
