Job Duties

1. Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Performs other related customer service functions as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA regulations. Requires medical exam and valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Work hours: Monday-Friday 07:00-17:00.
