A leading company is seeking a part-time courier to operate vehicles for package delivery and pickup. The role requires good communication skills, adaptability, and dependability. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and meet safety regulations.
Job Duties
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
Job Conditions
Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet and maintain the qualifications outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements for employees operating a company vehicle are detailed in policy 4-48. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license as per state requirements for the vehicle type and have a good driving record. This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay Range
$24.57 - $38.16
Additional Details
Part-time, Monday to Friday, 1300-1900 hours.
