Job Duties:
High school diploma/GED.
Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.
Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements for vehicle operation are detailed in policy 4-48. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license as per state requirements and have a good driving record. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Pay Transparency: $21.36/hour minimum, with a $3/hour pay premium.
Full-time, Monday-Friday, variable hours.
