Job Duties

1. Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Performs related customer service functions.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods skills.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license per state requirements and have a good driving record. Position is safety-sensitive and requires constant alertness and safe operation.

Pay Transparency

The listed compensation range ($28.23-$39.03/hr) reflects expected pay at the posted location(s). Actual pay depends on experience, tenure, market, performance, schedule, and work assignment. Eligible employees may also receive additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Work Schedule

Part-time up to 6 hours daily, Sunday through Saturday, with 2 days off. Shift hours are between 6 AM and 7 PM, determined at hire.
