Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Ontario is hiring two part-time couriers for an interview position on an assigned route. You will provide courteous pickup and delivery of packages, check shipments for conformance with FedEx Canada service standards, and perform related customer service tasks as needed.

We value strong communication, time management and the ability to work under pressure. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required, with flexibility for varied shifts including

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
Able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
Customer-oriented experience preferred.
Able to pass pre-placement driver assessment training.
Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs is an asset.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willing to work flexible schedules including holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous and efficient pickup and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.
Perform related customer service functions as needed.
